Does MindSave Have Side Effects?

Quick answer

Two published ingredient lists exist for MindSave and one of them carries caffeine, theacrine and theobromine. Beyond that, reported side effects in the trials of the named ingredients are mild where they are reported at all, and the parts worth reading are the interactions: a cholinergic mechanism, two ingredients linked to a fall in blood pressure, and two federal upper limits.

This page takes each one in turn and names the group it applies to.

Read this first

One of the two published MindSave lists carries stimulants

The MindSave sales page lists eight ingredients and not one of them is a stimulant. The printed label artwork supplied for this listing carries a different formula whose proprietary blend opens with caffeine from green coffee bean extract, with theacrine and theobromine on the same line. All three are stimulants.

Four groups should know that before they order rather than after: anyone avoiding caffeine, anyone pregnant or nursing, anyone managing blood pressure, and anyone already sleeping badly. A stimulant also pulls against the blood-pressure note further down this page, which is the one place on this label where two effects point in opposite directions.

This desk has not held a current bottle against that artwork. It cannot say which formula ships and it asserts neither as the contents. The action it can give you is exact: read the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle before the first capsule, and if it is not the formula you expected the 60-day guarantee takes the bottles back, empty ones included. Both documents are printed in full on the label page.

In the trials

What the trials of MindSave's ingredients reported

The twelve-week bacopa trial reported its adverse events rather than glossing them, and the pattern in bacopa research is gastrointestinal: stomach upset, cramping, loose stools, usually settling. The safety arm of the soy phosphatidylserine trial found the supplement well tolerated in people over 57. The overview of every systematic review of huperzine A records that none of the six reviews it assessed reported serious side effects.

Those are findings about individual ingredients at amounts published in the papers. They are not findings about this capsule, which has never been trialled as a finished product.

Interactions

The interactions worth raising about MindSave

The cholinergic one

Huperzine A inhibits acetylcholinesterase reversibly and selectively. That is the opposite pharmacological space from the anticholinergic medicines the National Institute on Aging lists as able to blunt older adults' thinking: antihistamines, sleep aids, antipsychotics, muscle relaxants, drugs for urinary incontinence and antispasmodics. Human toxicity data are inadequate and animal work reports mild to moderate cholinergic effects at therapeutic doses. If you take anything on that list, or a cholinesterase inhibitor, that is the conversation to have before the first capsule.

Blood pressure, twice

The pharmacopeia's GABA review records a transient drop of under ten per cent and says it is conceivable that concurrent use with anti-hypertensive medication could increase the risk of low blood pressure. Systolic pressure also fell in the tyrosine combat-course trial.

Two upper limits to add up

Vitamin B6 has a tolerable upper intake level of 100 mg a day from food and supplements together, and supplemental niacin sits under 35 mg a day. Neither can be checked against this label, so count the other products in the cupboard that carry B6 and niacin instead, because those you can read.

Alpha GPC, both sides

A 2021 Korean cohort reported a higher ten-year stroke risk in people prescribed the medicine form. A 2025 cohort in the same country points the other way. Europe's food-safety regulator assessed 203.7 mg a day as a supplement level in 2026. The question is open and both findings are printed here.

Who should not take it

Who should not take MindSave, and the general rule

  • Anyone under 18. The label says so.
  • Anyone pregnant or nursing. The GABA safety review notes that no studies were available in pregnancy and advises caution.
  • Anyone with a diagnosed condition, or taking prescription medicine, without raising the eight names with the prescriber first.
  • Anyone already taking a separate B-complex, until the B6 and niacin have been added up.

The general rule, stated once. Supplements and medicines taken together can increase an effect, reduce it, or interact in ways that matter. Here the size of any interaction cannot be judged from what is published, because the two lists disagree and only one of them carries amounts. Names are what a prescriber can work with, and both sets are on the label page.

The label's own caution, quoted. Do not exceed recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under the age of 18 and individuals with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing.

Who writes this

How this MindSave safety page is written

Four claims, and they are the ones a sceptical reader can audit in ten minutes:

  1. The bottle is the source. The eight names, the capsule count, the serving direction and the caution block come from the printed label and the supplier’s artwork. Prices, shipping lines, bonus titles and the guarantee wording come from the seller’s own order page, read on 19 September 2026.
  2. Research amounts live in a column of their own, headed “What studies used”, beside a column that says what the label prints. No sentence here moves a number from the first into the second.
  3. Sources are cited against their own population. Where a trial was run in people with a diagnosis, the sentence says so and the result is not carried across to a healthy reader.
  4. Corrections change the date. Write to [email protected] and the review date moves forward.

We earn when you buy. Themindsave is the USA Authorized MindSave Retailer named at the top of this page and this website makes money on orders placed through it. That is exactly why the note on what a list of eight names is worth, the three-star reviews and the plain statement that MindSave is not a treatment for anything are here: they are where our interest and yours pull apart. Order support on +1 (302) 200-3480 handles tracking, changes and refunds and is never a way to place an order; orders go through the checkout only.
